You will be able to compare and choose health coverage that best fits your needs and budget. They also assist individuals in applying for Medi-Cal year round if you are within those eligibility guidelines.

If it is not official open enrollment check to see if you meet the criteria for special enrollment, which might allow you to enroll.

VA San Diego Healthcare System offers a wide variety of comprehensive mental health treatment programs including individual and group counseling, specialized therapies, and medication based on the Veteran’s individual needs and their treatment plan.

For emergencies between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, come to the Psychiatry Emergency Clinic at the VA Medical Center, 2nd floor, north wing. After 4:00 pm and on weekends and holidays, please come to the Emergency Department at the VA Medical Center.

FHCSD offers a wide range of health care services throughout the region, including 24 primary care clinics, eight dental clinics, 13 behavioral health facilities, an outpatient substance use treatment program, vision, physical therapy departments, two mobile medical units, two mobile counseling centers, and a pharmacy to support services throughout San Diego County.

La Maestra Community Health Centers (LMCHC) is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) and a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). They provide primary care, specialty services including behavioral and mental health, chronic disease management and essential support services to men, women and children in San Diego. LMCHC’s main health center is located in City Heights, but they have many locations across the county.
